  • CleanUP Wrapped 2025

    2025 was another wonderful success. A total of over 16,000 people set out to clear 5,770 kilometres of litter. We thank all participants, partners and sponsors. Here's to 2026.

    This year, Bosch BKK & DMG MORI are once again calling for participation in the Waste-Free Allgäu Challenge. School classes, club groups, companies and many more can get involved from 26 September to 12 October 2025 and thus contribute to the challenge and a cleaner environment.

  • Allgäu CleanUP Days

    The Allgäu CleanUP Days will take place from 3 to 12 July 2026. Get out there, rid nature of litter and share your impact by adding your route to our CleanUP Map. There you’ll also find all the CleanUP Kit collection points and litter collection stations.

  • CleanUP Hike | Kleinwalsertal

    PATRON x Kleinwalsertal Tourism x DAV Allgäu-Kempten x Merrell

    Come along and join us in clearing litter from the natural surroundings of the Kleinwalsertal. We’ll be travelling together on the Allgäu Mountain Bus to the beautiful Kleinwalsertal, where we’ll spend the day taking part in a clean-up, enjoying a snack and attending a workshop.

    Meeting point: Baad bus stop or DAV mountain bus

    Route: from Baad to Hirschegg, approx. 7 km with 268 hm

    Schedule:

    • 07:24 Departure of the DAV mountain bus from Kempten – stops in Kempten & Sonthofen
    • 08:40 Arrival at Walserhaus (Kleinwalsertal)
    • 08:55 Arrival & meet at Baad bus stop for the clean-up
    • 12:00 – 13:00 Meet at Walserhaus for a snack and drinks
    • 1.30–1.45 pm Campaign by Kleinwalsertal Tourism: Keep it clean & take your rubbish with you: take a look at what doesn’t belong on our animals’ menu – the three-course meal from the roadside
    • 1.45–2.30 pm CleanUP workshop by PATRON – together we’ll take a closer look at the rubbish we’ve collected
    • 14:30 – 14:45 It’s time to get down to business! – fill a jar with the rubbish you’ve collected
    • 15:40 DAV mountain bus departs from Walserhaus
    • approx. 17:00 DAV mountain bus arrives in Kempten

    • The Mountain Bus is available free of charge to participants in the CleanUP Hike. Registration for the Mountain Bus is done via the Community CleanUP registration form.

  • CleanUP Ride | Blaichach

    PATRON x Rad & Sport Blaichach

    Let’s cycle together and clear the countryside of litter at a few stops along the way.

    Itinerary:

    • 5.30 pm – Meet at Rad & Sport Blaichach for a pre-ride coffee
    • 6 pm – Start of the CleanUP Ride
    • CleanUP stops at three car parks along the route – see tour
    • Route: approx. 35km & 400m elevation gain – depending on the number of participants, there will be several groups at different paces
    • Duration: approx. 2–2.5 hours incl. CleanUP
    • Tour & registration via Strava from Rad & Sport
    • Approx. 8.00 pm – Get-together @ Rad & Sport incl. after-ride drinks & chats

  • Afterwork CleanUP Iller | Waltenhofen

    As part of our Allgäu CleanUP Days 2026, we’re offering a relaxed activity to ease you into the weekend.

    Together with our resident biologist Christian Böhm, we’ll set off on a CleanUP along the floodplain forests and gravel banks near Waltenhofen. Along the way, Christian will explain the importance of our river ecosystems, show you what makes them so special, what threatens them, and why the issue of litter is particularly significant here.

  • CleanUP Hike & Workshop | Oberstaufen

    As part of the Allgäu CleanUP Days and the “Oberstaufener Weitblick” event week, we are organising a guided clean-up on the Kapf near Oberstaufen, followed by a clean-up workshop. Along the route, which is just under 5 km long, we will collect litter from the paths to help keep the countryside clean. We will set out to investigate and take a closer look at the links between nature and leisure activities. We’ll explore the problems this causes, as well as the solutions for enjoying the outdoors in an environmentally friendly way.

    During the workshop afterwards, we’ll take a closer look at the rubbish we’ve collected. Christian Böhm, Chair of PATRON e.V. and biologist, will explain the decomposition times of different types of rubbish and share his knowledge about nature and how to protect it.

    You will receive the CleanUP Kit on the day.
